  • 2005 Principal Investigator, A new $1.3 million grant for Laser Applications in Manufacturing from the Air Force Office of Sponsored Research. This initiative is a part of 21 million dollar program in association with Connecticut Center of Advanced Technology with National Aerospace Leadership Initiative. ($21M for 2005-6)
  • 2004 Principal Investigator, United Technologies Corporation, Education Grant for the Introduction of MEMS Curriculum at the University of Hartford, 2004-2005.
  • 2003 Principal Investigator, United Technologies Corporation, Education Grant for the Introduction of Mechatronics Concentration at the University of Hartford, 2003-2004.
  • 1998-2002 Principal Investigator, National Science Foundation Grant on Action Agenda for Curricular Reform. $600,000 grant from NSF. Total grant of $1.1 Million, Integration of Design throughout the Curriculum by involving Humanities, Sciences and Social sciences (September 1998-2002).
